Session Fifty-Nine: GM Commentary

So here we are: the party is in the King’s palace, facing off against his vengeful spirit. There’s a nontrivial amount of backstory attached to the King, but I don’t know how much of it is interesting or even relevant at this point. You could make a strong argument that he should have been a character running throughout this whole adventure path, at first only rumored of or seen from afar, and only now confronted directly, when the party has enough power to defeat him. It’s too late to make that happen for this campaign, but that’s an idea I’ll file away for possible use in the future. After all these years of playing RPGs, it’s great that I can still be picking up ideas on how to make my games better.

  1. Morningstar says:

That would have been a good idea. Would have made his appearance when we returned from Leng that much more moving. Also, would have reinforced the “something is moving to get the Sihedron together again” ideation.
