Session Forty-Four: GM Commentary

And the party draws closer to its date with Ardathanatus. Not much to remark on here, except to say that I could probably have run all of these enemies a little bit better. Still, I’m satisfied with the level of challenge the party was faced with. These guys are the hors d’oeuvres, so I don’t mind if they don’t fill up on these, as long as the main course is good. Stay tuned for next session!

I’d like to point out that the damn Will-o-wisps almost wiped the party. They were just different enough from the traditional monsters that we wasted spells before we realized that only Magic Missle would work on them. Also, such high ACs that our fighters were missing a lot when going for their extra attack and power attack routines.
