Session Thirty: GM Commentary

And so the Dark Rider falls. I realize that after the fight with the false Sorshen I said that maybe next time I’d handle things differently and have the end boss attack the PCs while they were resting, so as to make the fight more challenging. And yes, I realize that I had the chance to do that this time and didn’t, once again. I did think about it, but I still figured it was too much. Instead I had the Dark Rider threaten them and engage them together with its minions, rather than all alone. If things had gotten ridiculous, with the party going back to the Khaei village again and again, I probably would have had them get attacked, but altogether I think it ended up okay.
